My Paws HURT After a Visit to HURTwood

Hey pups! First things first, I want to highlight that I had nothing to do with the disaster of a pun (can you even call it that???) that is this post's title! I wanted to go simple and call it 'My Adventures in Hurtwood' but Mom said that her idea was more original and, I can say this...funny. Can you believer her?

Anyways, we went for a long walk today- started at 11 and we were home at 14:30. Boy was I tired! Mom has had her eye on a little place a bit away from us called Peaslake. She read about it in a book about Surrey in our town library- there were some amazing pictures and she fell in love with it. Hurtwood, Peaslake has been a top choice on Mom's Summer Bucket List but for a number of reasons (GUESTS!!!) we have been unable to go until today. I was stressed out as hell a bit in the car ride to Peaslake but I settled once we found the right path after Mom's pitiful search on the map. From then on it was all pip-squeak- it really was an amazing place and we walked to Shamely Green. There we got two buses home and finally: rest and relaxation.

We're welcomed!

Mom took loads of picture that weren't of me- waste of memory on the card, Mom!

We played fetch!

Which got me tired

See? Pointless photo, again!

Then we played some more fetch

Taking a rest

Map stop!

I think there's something in these ferns, Mom!

Wheeeeee!

Sit stay!

Mom thought this is a pretty cool bench. What about you pups?

Even if the bench was lame, the view was picturesque!

There's that ball again!

Just checking that Mom didn't loose my favourite chicken liver treats!

Mom though this dog was beautiful. Can you believe her? What breed even is this?
I ran around so much that now my paws hurt and Mom has to give me a foot massage! Where have you been lately?

Licks and Wags,
Dina

Disclaimer: In actual fact there is nothing wrong with my paws! :)

A Running We Will Go...I mean we went.

Hey pups! Before I get to the actual topic of the post I want to share a boring detail of my life: I'm on new food. Mom decided to try a rotation diet with me and the first food we're doing is James Wellbeloved. My stomach is kinda lined with iron when it comes to changing foods so we're gonna try a new food every two or three bags and see how it goes. Anyway, skipping to the main part, our running route was a nice short little loop around the area. Mom didn't even run the whole thing becuase she is a fat, unhealthy and unfit butt, instead she ran a little and walked for ages, then ran a little and walked for ages. We are going to try and build up the distance slowly so that in a while we will be able to go for long-distance runs. It's even on Mom's bucket list to run a marathon. Some photos Mom took during a break and the walking parts.

Do you like to run with your pawrents?

Licks and Wags,
Dina

I Smell a Play Date Brewing!

Hey pups! We are back for good now- the guests are gone and Mom just recovered from the flu so won't be ill for a while. Sit yourself down for the wild ride of Dog the Dina posts!

In today's agenda we have a play date with my sister, Kiara, who recently got back from holidays in Poland- lucky!!!! Although there was a 10 hour road trip involved so maybe not so yay! But the important this is that she is back, all ready to hang out and play with me.

Zoomies!

Me telling her off!

Jeesh! A breath mint wouldn't hurt ya!

Sharing a drink

And they're off!...!...!

Get off me you big smothering lump!

Who can stay mad at her for long?

We're practically twins!

All in all it was a pawsome day- I hope you had a fun Thursday too! How often, if at all, do you meet up with your siblings? Or do you have more friends outside the family?

Licks and Wags,
Dina
